The Survival Paracord Bracelet is one of the best EDC tools you can have on you. The most important tool in my opinion is the fire starter. When lighters run out of fuel, or your matches get wet, you're up a creek without a paddle.
Carrying this around, eliminates those problems.
How To Start a Fire With a Paracord Survival Bracelet
Collect Fire Tinder
Use the scraper on your bracelet to chip away and branches and twigs until you have a nice pile.
Gather Small To Medium Sized Branches
Before you try to light your tinder, have small and medium sized branches ready to go. If you don't take this step, your little flame could run out of fuel before you get it to a good size.
Be Sure To Strike Against The Grain
The biggest mistake people make with the Survival Bracelet is they try to scrape the striker with the back side of the blade. Be sure that the sharp end of the scraper is directly pressed against the flint before you push down.
This allows the knife to scrape some of the fire rod's filings off and they will ignite.
